Draw 66 unique characters, choose one, model and animate them in blender, import them into unity, collaborate with another student and make them interact with each other - all part of Game Visuals III.
The Crazy 66
The first task was to come up with 66 simple sketches for a unique character. A combination of characters 19 and 25 were then chosen for the character design.
Character Modelling
Following the choice of characters came the modelling and animation process. Since the end product was an interactive media, animations were divided in multiple clips, consisting of an Idle, Walk, and various attack related actions.
Implementation
The final task was to import the characters into Unity and making it interact with another character from another student. For the final build we chose to use WebGL for better accessibility.
